Lord Sri Krishna’s temple is situated between the lake in Yula Kanda of Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is said about the holy lake that it was constructed by the Pandavas at the time of exile. After that the Krishna Temple was built between the lake. The specialty of this temple is that people of every religion can see it

The history of Yula Kanda Janmashtami festival, located at an altitude of 12000 feet above sea level, is related to the state of Bushahr. It is believed that the tradition of celebrating this festival began during the reign of King Kehari Singh of the then Bushar state.
