Kangra valley:-

The monolithic rock cut temples at masrur, excavated from single sandstone ridge, are located about 48 km NW of Kangra, .
Stylistically the temple can be dated as circa 8th century CE.
These temples, in fact, form a complex with sanctum sanctorum in the center, possibly 24 small shrines surrounding it, and a large reservoir excavated in the front.
In view of the outstanding archeological value ASI declared the temple a protected monument of national importance in 1903.
