First time back in 2016 I went to chamba and then to Bharmaur and came to know about the mighty kailash which is known to be the “abode of lord shiva .”From that day it was in my mind and heart that I would definitely go to this place once but I never knew that it’d be so soon . So all of a sudden , I decided to go to Chamba and left Delhi on 16th of September. I took a bus to kangra and then went to chamba the other day. At Chamba’s Chaugan next day i met 3 of my friends and then we went to bharmaur (bharmani mata ) took a holy bathe and started our journey to hManimahesadsar , from where the yartra starts . We started around at 7:30 pm in the evening and had our dinner in one of the delicious bandaras . They people were serving amazing food . After filling ourselves we started walking again.
We were walking under the starry night as it got more darker i saw the most beautiful thing which was over us for the whole of the night .”The milky way galaxy “ That I wanted to witness so desperately and finally ,I saw not only the glimpse of it but , it became my partner for the rest of the walk .At around 2 am we all stopped at a point and were very sleepy so we decided to took a power nap for 2 hours . It was only few kms away from The Manimahesh Lake so we decided to walk rest of the trail in the morning before sunrise .
We started in the morning around 5:30 and reached the top before sunrise 🌅 and what i saw was a miracle . I could not believe that something like this existed in reality . It was so positive up there , so many pilgrims were waiting for witnessing the manidarshan . We sat down at the lake side and as the sun came up we saw the “Mani shining” on top of the “kailash “and suddenly the whole place went so bright , one could not even look directly towards the mani , rays just purified me somehow . At first i thought of going to this place for once in my life but now Iam gonna go again and again.
In between the chants of “Har Har Mahadev” I was lost in a way never before.🙏🏻🙏🏻
